An Interview with Fundof’s Head of Content, Emma Rivers

Fundof has embarked on a project to create its own blockchain based platform that will enable direct monetization for content creators rather than depending on third parties and intermediaries.

Most social networks share content but almost none lets you make money instantly. Fundof is a platform where creativity is rewarded – share and access all kinds of content and open up for ALL users to monetize it.

Fundof´s Head of Content, Emma Rivers, tells us more about the project.

HI EMMA, TELL US ABOUT FUNDOF
Fundof is a blockchain-based content- and live streaming video platform that lets everybody make money instantly.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?
Income distribution on traditional content sharing platforms such as Instagram, Twitch, YouTube and Tik Tok offers no monetization model for the average consumer and only a fraction of their revenue goes back to the creators. Fundof on the other side allows consumers to monetize directly on our platform and that’s an amazing opportunity that doesn’t exist today.

WHAT MARKET ARE YOU ATTACKING AND HOW BIG IS IT?
The market for online content is one of largest ever in human history and valued at billions of dollars and beyond.

WHAT IS THE BUSINESS MODEL?
It’s easy. The consumer gets 90% of the profit and Fundof keeps 10%. Its fair and everybody makes money.

HASN’T THIS BEEN TRIED BEFORE IN THE EXPERIENTIAL SPACE?
Not fully. Other platforms have tried different approaches but its always way too complicated for the users with subscription models and unfair income shares.

WHAT ARE THE MILESTONES FOR THE COMING SIX MONTHS?
During the last six months we have built the platform in close collaboration with our core network of over 1,000 very active e-sport- and social media influencers. Together with these promoters of Fundof we are now have a goal of recruiting 100,000 content creators to join Fundof from launch which we plan to happen in the beginning of 2019.

WHERE WILL YOU LAUNCH?
We will launch with simultaneous events in Los Angeles, Berlin, Tokyo and Seoul where we have strong networks among influencers and within the e-sport world.
